Who am I?

I’m a 36 year old guy, who has never sewed before.  In fact, has never done anything crafty before really (for one definition of crafty), aside from sewing up a hole in a pair of trousers, for which I was overly proud.

I inherited my mums old sewing machine when she passed away, which has been sitting idle in a cupboard for 3 years.

A few weeks back I bought some curtains, these curtains were too long, and so my journey began…
